LaFONTAINE, Vivian Mae "Viv" (nee McClelland) March 30, 1921 - April 21, 2006 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Vivian LaFontaine in her 86th year, on Friday, April 21, 2006 at the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus. Cherished mother of Michael LaFontaine (Janice), Elaine Ralph (Robert), Philip LaFontaine (Claire) and Paul LaFontaine (Nancy). Devoted grandmother "Gammie" to Dana Licandro, Michael LaFontaine, David LaFontaine and the late Tina Louise LaFontaine and great-grandmother to Ryan Licandro. Also survived by her sister Doreen Macdonald. She was a second mother to many of her children's closest friends. Vivian was predeceased by her parents John and Emma (nee Fournier) McClelland, her sister Jean Carey, brother John McClelland, and by sisters Marian Little and Eleanor Davidson. A Service in memory of Vivian will be held in the Chapel of Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road (Kanata) Wednesday, April 26th, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at Beachburg Union Cemetery, Beachburg, Ontario. Family and close friends are welcome to attend the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
