Joseph Beaulieu Finds Wife Dead In Groton Home

Mrs. Mary Walsh Beaulieu, 49,, of 21 West Elderkin Avenue, Groton, wife of Joseph P. Beaulieu, Sr. was found dead in bed by her husband at 8:30 a.m.
today and death was attributed ti a cerebral hemorrhage.
Groton Medical Examiner R. L. Douglass pronounce the cause of death and said she apparently died about 8:15 a.m.
Mrs. Beaulieu was born in County Sligo, Ireland, September 18, 1903, daughter of Thomas and Margaret Durkin Walsh, and had lived in Groton since coming to this country 32 years ago.
She was a member of Sacred Heart parish and the auxiliary to Groton Post, American Legion, both in Groton.
Surviving besides her husband, proprietor of Joseph P, Beaulieru & Sons, floor services are four sons, Lieut, Joseph P. Beaulieu Jr. with the Air Force stationed in New Mexico, Raymond R. Beaulieu who is with the Marines and recently arrived in California from Korea; George T. Beaulieu, Anchorage, Alaska and Robert W. Beaulieu, Groton; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine O'Brien and Mrs. Margaret Quinn , both of New York City, and Sister Joseph Nathy of the Sisters of Charity in County Kilkenny, Ireland; two brothers, Thomas and martin Walsh, both of England and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 8:15 a.m. Saturday from Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home. A high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Groton and interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
