Biographie Gorman Honora
Daughter of Denis and Mary (Callaghan) Gorman. Wife of William Archibald Fraser. Mother of John, Mary Jane, and Anora Christina. Honora died of typhoid fever while the family was living in Lachute, Quebec, soon following the birth of her third child.
Following Honora's death William, John, and Anora, lived with William's mother Christina Fraser in Lost River, Quebec and subsequently relocated to British Columbia. Mary Jane lived with Honora's mother and father in North Onslow, Quebec on a farm situated at Kelly's Lake (now part of the Gatineau Park), and subsequently emigrated to Minneapolis, MN where two of her mother's sisters: Bridget and Mary had emigrated as well.
Mary Jane married Michael Malone in 1895 in Minneapolis, MN. Anora Christina married William Latimer Blatchford and John married Elizabeth McGregor: widow of Allen McIntyre.
William Archibald Fraser died a widower in Abbotsford, British Columbia in 1921. The William A. Fraser Middle School is named after him and is situated on his former homestead.
