TETRAULT FRANCOIS X. JR. FARIBAULT JOURNAL 23/MAY/1917 FRANK X. TETRAULT, JR. A PIONEER RESIDENT OF RICE COUNTY, DIED LATE TUESDAY NIGHT, MAY 22, AT HIS HOME IN THIS CITY. MR. TETRAULT HAD BEEN ILL FOR ABOUT A MONTH. ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FUNERAL HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED, BUT WILL PROBABLY BE HELD ON FRIDAY MORNING. PARENTS OF DECEASED WERE FRANCOIS AND MARION LAPORTE TETRAULT, SR.
Tetrault Frank Faribault Daily News 24/May/1917 Frank Tetrault, a high respected citizen of this city passed away at his home last night after an illness of 22 days. His death came very easy without any suffering and was due to slow paralysis. He was born in Verohers, Canada in 1842 and came to Minnesota when 19 years old. In 1870 he married Mary LeClare and ten children were born to them. In 1901 his wife died. He was married again in 1902 to Matilda DeGuise and five children were born to them. Since he was ten years of age, Mr. Tetrault has been a carpenter and worked at the School for the Feeble Minded at that trade for 22 years. Getting a poor start in life without any education, Mr. Tetrault always provided well for his family and was a large property holder in this city. Mr. Tetrault is survived by 15 children and 23 grandchildren. The children are three sons, Henry, Francis and Alexandra of this city and the daughters are Mrs. George Deverey, Mrs. Peter LaRose, Mrs. Albert Ochs, Mrs. Bert Helso, Neolis, Germaine, Anieoinette, Mrs. J. D. Keese of Gates, Oklahoma, Mrs. Edward Cunningham of Webb, Sasktachewan and Miss Genevieve Tetrault, a red cross nurse on her way to Europe, Isabella and Helen of St. Paul and four sisters, Mrs. D. Brunette of Montreal, Canada, Mrs. Joseph Payant and Mrs. William Peltier of Faribault and Mrs. Adelord Henry of North Dakota. Funeral arrangements are not definitely settled yet but plans are for Friday morning at 9 o'clock at the Sacred heart Church with burial in the Calvary cemetery. Relatives are expected from Wisconsin.
