Biographie West Gwendolyn

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the death of our cherished family matriarch, Gwen Ranger, née West, on June 20 in Aylmer, QC. Born in Brysonville, QC & schooled in Ormstown, she then resided and met Lucien Ranger in Coteau. Young and deeply in love, they wed in 1941. Married 67 years, she lived & raised her beloved brood of 6 in Coteau. In her mid-40s with two young children still at home, she worked for 17 years at Simpsons/The Bay, Fairview, in security.

Predeceased in 2008 by husband Lucien and cherished son Stephen, she leaves in deep sorrow but with wonderful memories her children Terrance, Lynn (James Hayes), Ronald (Danièle Laberge), Darryl (Claudine Dumas) and Timothy (Jocelyne Sauvé); 8 grandchildren: Marc, Michaella, Marie-Pierre, Charles-Alexandre, Cecily, Pascal, Sabrina & Sébastien;10 great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She is now eternally happy with God and at peace in the arms of Dad, Stephen, Grandma & Grandpa West and her 9 brothers & sisters. Mom, you will be with us in our hearts always.
