Biographie Melanson Marguerite
Mrs. Marguerite Landry, 87, wife of the late Jude Landry, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born August 16, 1916 in Amherst, N. S., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Zélica (Landry) Melanson. Marguerite will be sadly missed by her loving family; two daughters, Juliette Cormier (Valmont) of Shediac, Anna Léger of Cap-Pelé; three sons, Francis (Gayle) of Lowel, Mass., Jude Jr. (Paula) of Plymouth, Mass., Ronald (Jeannette) of Shediac Bridge; five sisters, Rosé LeBlanc (Léonce) of Kitchener, ON., Irène Cormier (Gérard) of Bas Cap-Pelé, Rita Cormier (Alcide) of Shediac, Mathilda Porelle of Cap-Pelé, Bernadette Bourgeois (Alfred) of Dieppe; a brother, Joseph Melanson of Mass.; 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Besides her husband Jude (1984), she was also predeceased by her son Réginald (1985), one sister, Edna; two brothers, René and Alex; and a great granddaughter Tracy. Resting at funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Wednesday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 11a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
