Biographie Goulet Simon
Simon Goulet, Sr., died last Wednesday evening, Feb. 7, at half past eleven o'clock at his home on First Avenue North, of a complication of diseases. Deceased was born in St. Gabriel, de Brandon, Province of Quebec, Canada, Feb. 2, 1840. He grew to manhood and married in the place of his nativity. He came to Faribault with his family July 6, 1870 and has resided here since. He was married in 1865 in St. Gabriel to Natalie Bebault [sic], who survices him with six children, three sons and three daughters. The sons Simons, Jr., and Myron of this ciry, and Esrom of Minneapolis. The daughters are Jennie, Emma and Artchemese, all of whom reside at the family home. The funeral was held Saturday morning at the church of the Sacred Heart, Rev. Father Monge officiating at the mass of requiem. The burial was in St. Lawrence cemetery.
