Biographie Potvin Roseanna
Born in Edmonton Aug. 6, 1921, the 10th of 19 children, passed away peacefully in North Vancouver, Feb. 16, 2011 age 89. Predeceased by Hugh MacDonald, husband of 57 yrs. & 12 brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her 8 children, 23 grandchildren and six sisters. Roseanne loved growing up in a large family. She was a wonderful & loving person with many friends throughout Delta & Vancouver. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and sang on the radio in her youth. Roseanne was a member of the Cdn. Air Force during the 2nd world war & worked as a nurses aide. In 1940 she moved to Vancouver, B.C. In 1949, she met and married Hugh MacDonald. They lived in Vancouver, B.C., in later yrs. settled in Ladner & traveled extensively across North America and Europe. Roseanne was a great cook & loved entertaining. She spoke French fluently & encouraged her children to do so. Worked for many yrs. as a volunteer at Delta Hospital, was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church for 25 yrs. & always had a deep love for Christ which she shared with her family. She devoted her life to her children and husband, adored her many grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was the best Mother, the best Grandmaman, the best person & always remained enthusiastic & positive no matter what the situation. She had a great sense of humour & a smile for everyone she knew. She will be missed forever... Prayers offered Wed.
