Mrs. A. Leger -
The death of Mrs. Albert Leger of St. Mary occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital Sunday after a long illness. She was 77. Born at Buctouche, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Virginia (Robichaud) Collette. Surviving are, her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Savoie (Lea) and Mrs. Adelin Jaillet (Irene), both of Buctouche, Mrs. Alyre LeBlanc (Exelda) of Scoudouc, and Mrs. Ulysse Maillet (Rosaline) of St. Anne; three sons, Alderice of Waltham, Mass., Alban of Moncton and Alcide of Buctouche; three sisters, Rev. Sister Exelda Collette of St. Anne, Mrs. Antoine Nowlan (Amanda) of Buctouche and Mrs. Adelin Savoie (Lea) of Moncton; three brothers, Levain and Amand, both of Leominster, Mass., and Alban of Newington, Conn.; 26 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The body is resting at Richard's funeral home, Buctouche, with service to be held in the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Wednesday at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
