Albert Leger -
The death of Albert Leger of St. Mary occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton Monday. He was 80. Born at St. Mary, he was a son of the late Maximin and Philomen (Cormier) Leger, He was a retired farmer. His wife, the former Ursule Collette, died last August. Surviving are, four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Savoie (Lea) and Mrs. Adeline Jaillet (Irene), both of Buctouche, Mrs. Ulysse Maillet (Rosaline) of Moncton, and Mrs. Alyre LeBlanc (Exelda) of Scoudouc, with whom he resided, three sons, Alban of Moncton, Alcide of Buctouche and Alderice of Waltham, Mass.; 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Richard's funeral home in Buctouche with service to be held at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Thursday at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery later in the spring.
