Bathurst - Lawrence Boucher, 92, husband of Violet (Imhoff) Boucher, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away on February 14, 2008, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henry Boucher and late Francis Roy.
He was retired form Consolidated Bathurst after 38 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: One son; Clayton (Gail) of Bathurst. Nine daughters; Barbara Garrett, Joyce Lavigne (Maurice), Emma Chamberlain and Brenda Arseneau (Donald) all of Bathurst, Martha Couture (Claude) of Acton ON, Deanna Boudreau (Armand) of Bobcaygeon ON, Wanda Dawe of Calgary AB, Maureen Hachey (Pierre) of Drayton Valley AB, and Colleen Coppel (Joel) of Moncton NE. Many grand children, great grandchildren and great-great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. One brother; Maynard (Edna) of Bathurst. Three sisters; Roberta Vieneau of Saint John NB, Elva Kelly of Campbellton and Kathryn Cormier (Reg) of Westbank BC.
He was pre-deceased by one daughter; Angela and three sons; Doran, Gary, Henry.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed canoeing.
Funeral services was held Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel with Father Wesley Wade Officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
