Biographie Garand Walter-Leo

Walter L. Garant, 89, of Heritage Lakes passed away on July 15, 2011. He was born in Manchester, NH and lived there for most of his life. He has lived in New Port Richey, FL for the past several years. Walter was a veteran of World War II, having served as a SSGT in the United States Army. He was a retired chemical salesman. He was very active in the Heritage Lakes Homeowner's Association, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and served as a volunteer at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was a member of the American Legion and Catholic War Vets. Walter was preceded in death by his wife Alice. He will be greatly missed by his sister, nieces, nephews and the local community.
