Biographie Chauvin Marie-Rose

RICHFORD, Mrs. Mary Rose Bessette, 73, wife of Adolphe Bessette, died Wednesday morning Sept. 24, 1986, at the Northwestern Medical Centery in St. Albans.


She was born in St. Marcel, Quebec, Oct. 24, 1912, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Eva (Laramee) Chauvin. Mrs. Bessette was a resident of Richford for the past 40 years and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Richford. 
She is survived by her husband, Adolphe Bessette of Richford; a son, Roger Bessette of Pittsfield, Masss.; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Germaine) Doonon of Cowansville, Quebec; two brothers, Armand Chauvin of Montgomery Center, and Joseph Chauvin of Dudley, Mass.; four sisters, Mrs. Moise (Aurore) Levelle of Dudley, Mass., Mrs. Simone Larose of Sutton, Quebec, Mrs. Donalda Winski of Eden, and Mrs. Lionel (Marie Ann) Archambault of Abercorn, Quebec; and 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Richford with the Rev. Leonidas Laroche celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial Interment will follow in St. Simon Cemetery in Abercorn. Friends may call on the family at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford. Father Laroche will say prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to the All Saints Catholic Church, in care of the Rev. Leonidas Laroche, Richford, Vt. 05476.
