Biographie Bessette Adolphe

RICHFORD, Adolphe J. Bessette, 80, died Wednesday morning September 23, 1987 at a St. Albans Nursing Home following a long illness.

He was born in Frelighsburg March 2, 1907 the son of Oliva and Paullina (Lagrandeur) Bessette.

Mr. Bessette had been a resident of Richford for he past 41 years. He was employed by the H. K. Webster Company for 20 years retiring in 1964.

He is survived by one son, Roger of Pittsfield, Mass; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Germaine) Doonan of Cowansville; one sister, Mrs. Exsina Coderette of Hollywood, Florida; 11 grand children; for great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Rose (Chauvin) Bessette, on September 24, 1986 and by a son, Gemain (Jerry) Bessette on October 4, 1980.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday morning at All Saint’s, Rev. Leonidas Laroche officiating. Internment followed at St. Simon Cemetery, Abercorn. Contributions in his memory may be made to the All Saint’s Catholic Church Memorial Fund, c/o Rev. Laroche, Richford, 05476.
