Biographie Pelletier Andre


WHITEFIELD -- Andre ÒAndrewÓ Joseph Pelletier, 86, of Forest Lake
Road, died at his home on Tuesday morning, May 18, 2004.
Mr. Pelletier was born in Causapscal, PQ, Canada, on August 25, 1917,
the son of Pierre Joseph and Marianne (Rioux) Pelletier.
He retired at age 62 from the Groveton Paper Mill after 26 years of
employment. He enjoyed his retirement years with his wife Irene, fishing in
Florida in the winter and New Hampshire in the summer. His last two summers
were spent with his family in their new home on Burns Lake in Whitefield,
where his wife Irene continues to reside.
Family members include his wife, Irene (Choquette) Pelletier of
Whitefield and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two sons, Henri Daniel Pelletier of
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Norman Pelletier and his wife Elisabeth of
Bethlehem; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lionel (Elena) Pelletier of El Paso,
Tex.; a daughter, Doris Derr and her husband James of St. Thomas, Virgin
Islands and Whitefield; six grandchildren, Stephen Michael Pelletier and
his wife Nancy of Gilman, Vt., Yvette (Pelletier) and her husband Bob
Gonzalez, Ernest Pelletier, and Andrew Pelletier all of El Paso, Tex., and
Casey Pelletier and Nicole Pelletier both of New Jersey; three
great-grandchildren, Crystal Pelletier and Daniel Pelletier both of
Pennsylvania, and Stephen Michael Pelletier Jr. of Gilman; a great-great
grandson, Keaton Allen Morris; a brother, Joseph Hector Pelletier of
Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Marie-Louise Begin of St. Johnsbury, Vt.,
Evangeline Pelletier of Compton, PQ, Canada, Valerie Kane of Montreal,
Canada, and Teresa Dansereau of Holyoke, Mass.; and many nieces and
nephews. A son, Lionel Pelletier died in 1998.
There were no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection was
held on Saturday morning, May 22, at All Saints Church in Lancaster, with
the Rev. Raymond Ball, Pastor, officiating. Following the Mass, a brunch
was held at the Cabot Motor Lodge.
Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, NH
Division, Inc., Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101 Unit 501,
Bedford, NH 03102-6800.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bailey Funeral Home,
Lancaster.
