Note that the son of Nicolas Millet and Louise Cardinal, Jacques Millet was the late husband of Jeanne Pottier who I previosly wrote to you in regards to Joseph De La Mirande... she was De La Mirande's 3rd wife. The Millet Poitier marriage contract describes her as "Jeanne Poitier, daughter of the late Jean Baptiste Poitier and of the late Francoise De Brisse, born at Kaskaskia " . Same source as above, dated 2 Oct 1740.
She was still alive as late as 20 Jan 1758 when she made arrangements with a son-in-law to care for her for the rest of her life in exchange of all of her property except for an Indian woman and possibly some livestock for son Jacques if he should return to Illinois from New Orleans.
