Source additionnelle: pers. comm., Terence Kerwin (octobre/October 2003) [ID-110]. He writes the following, paraphrased and shortened here:
“Narcisse was a watchmaker. This brought him to New York City and to Europe. He had a shop in the middle of Côte de la Montagne in Québec City. According to my grandfather, his grandson by Louise’s older brother Edwin, Narcisse’s shop had large windows in the front, a workshop in the back, and family upstairs. The home is the Vendôme restaurant today. Edwin grew up to be Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Université Laval.
Margaret bore eleven children. My records show Louisa Clara to be the fifth. My estimate for her birth is 1857. No records I have to back this up, other than where she fits with her siblings.”
