HUGH DE BUSSIERES PASSES AWAY HERE
After an illness of a year and a half Hugh Adelard de Bussieres, for eight years a resident of Berkeley, passed away late Saturday at the family home, 2321 Derby Street. de Bussieres. who was a native of France, came to Berkeley from San Diego where his home was established in 1910. Before that time he had lived in Minnesota and Canada.
His life work was teaching and law and he was engaged in law practice in San Diego. For some years he has been connected with the American Trust Compagny. He gave up his position which illness made it impossible to carry on his duties.
Surviving de Bussieres are his widow, Mrs. Corinne de Bussieres, and a son, Hugo. Services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the Berkeley parlor of Freeman and Cox-Roach and Kenny Compagny and from the  St.Augustine's church where Rev. T.J. O'Connell will celebrate requiem high mass for the repose of his soul at 9 :30. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
