Biographie Boucher Luis-Antonio
Luis Antonio Boucher de Grand pre was born in Natchez Dist. in 1787. Served in the Spanish Infantry Regiment of Louisiana as a Lieutenant. He was killed at Ft. San Carlos in Baton Rouge, Sep. 23, 1810 during the West Florida Revolt. Louis had much to live up to, and even die for to prove the loyalty of the Grandpre family. He was engaged to Josephine Favrot, daughter of Don Pedro Favrot. After his death she was broken hearted and never married. Luis was buried with full military honors near the Baton Rouge fort.
