MOORE, Gerald E.

Gerry joined his sweetheart, Doreen (nee McCloskey), in heaven on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the age of 95. Son of the late John and Annie (nee McGee) Moore, and brother of the late Emmanuel Moore and Dorothy (nee Moore) Kennedy. Loving father to Sharon Yetts (Michael), Margo Morin (Robert), Carol Thorpe (late, Jim), Debbie Pakenham, Gary Moore, Darlene Lance (Michael), and Greg Moore. Proud grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 16. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to staff on R2S at The Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre for their care, compassion and attention; special thanks to Aston Westcarth, with whom Gerry had a special bond. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, Aylmer QC (attendance limited to immediate and extended family; mask required).
