MRS. MARY GOWETTE DIES AT PERU, AGED 92
Mrs. Mary Gowette, a lifelong resident of Peru who would have reached her 93 birthday next month passed away yesterday morning at the home of her niece. Mrs. Rose Harris at Peru.
Mrs. Gowette was born at Peru in 1847, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Soulia. She was the widow of Peter Gowette, who passed away at Peru about eight years ago. She had been an invalid for several years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from St. Augustine's church, Peru, Saturday morning at 9:30 Interment will be in the family plot in St. Augustine's cemetery.
