Perished after an accident according to mention in " Our French-Canadian Ancestors " by Thomas J. Laforest; Volume 11- Chapter 6- Page 53 4-15-98:
" Marie-Madeleine Cadieux died ... a few months before the accidental death of her two sons, Jean-Francois and Nicolas."
Burial acte states on 16 May 1715 he died after being given the sacrament of penitence (which means he was consciously repentant) & extreme unction le St-Viatic (Viatic 'um' Latin: means "provision for the journey" which is administered to the dying).
The curé did not say where this took place, but that eleven days after his death, on 27 May, the 25 year old's body was buried at St-Laurent, Ile d’Orléans.

Des états d'acte d'enterrement: "décédé le seize du dit mois après avoir reçu les sacrements de pénitence de l'extême onction et le St-Viatic." mais n'a pas dit où.
Jean-François de 25 ans a été enterré à St-Laurent, Ile d’Orléans le 27 mai, onze jours après sa mort.
