Cause of Death: Coronary Occlusion (Sudden)
Henri Joseph Beaudoin, 56, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at his home, 469 North Main Street. Born in St. Pierre de Baptiste, Canada, he had been a resident of this city for over 45 years.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alphonsine Beaudoin of this city; five brothers, Aime Beaudoin of Biddeford, Me., Egide, Lucien, Oscar J. and Maurice Beaudoin, all of this city; four sisters, Mrs.Louise Hammer, Mrs. Mary Curtis, Mrs. Alfred A. Currier and Mrs. Leon H. Hebert, all of this city, also several nephews and nieces.
He was a parishioner of St. Marie Church where services will take place Friday morning. Interment will take place in the family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body is at the Arthur O. Phaneuf Funeral Home where relatives and friends may call between 2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The funeral of Henri Joseph Beaudoin took place Friday morning from the Arthur O. Phaneuf funeral home. At 8:30, a solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated in Ste. Marie church. Rev. Egide Beaudoin an Oblate father of Haiti, a nephew of the deceased, was the celebrant, assisted by Rev. Maurice Boulanger as deacon and Rev. Louis Comtois as sub deacon. The church choir that sang at the services was composed of Gerald Robert, Roger Desruisseau, and Thomas Fynn, under the Direction of Arthur Marchand, organist. Bearers were nephews, Omer Beaudoin, James Currier, Joseph Hammer, Robert Currier and Arthur Hebert. Burial took place in the family lot in Mt. Calvary under the direction of Arthur O. Phaneuf assisted by Oscar Beaudoin. Fathers Beaudoin and Boulanger officiated at the committal prayers at the grave.
Note: Never married. World War I Veteran (103rd Regt. Inf. Co. A.). Enlisted on 12 April 1916 and was Discharged on 29 June 1919.
